Account and data deletion

This page applies to the PhotoCarbs app (Android), operated by KPTSIMPLE TECNOLOGIA E MARKETING LTDA, CNPJ 13.609.272/0001-35. You can delete your account and data in two ways.

Option 1 — in the app (immediate):

• Open PhotoCarbs and sign in.
• Go to Preferences → Account.
• Tap “Delete account” and confirm.
• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — by email (if you cannot access the app):

• Write to operations@kptsimple.com with the subject “PhotoCarbs account deletion”.
• Send the email from the address registered on the account, or state it in the message, so we can confirm the account is yours.
• We respond within 7 days and reply when the deletion is complete.

When you delete the account, we permanently erase the data associated with it:

• Name, email and password (hash).
• Meal photos and analysis results (items, carbohydrates, corrections).
• Meal history, favorites and goals.
• Logged blood glucose (manual and imported, including from Health Connect) and insulin, with their parameters.
• Session credentials of connected devices (Dexcom / LibreLinkUp).
• Personal memory and transcripts of voice logging conversations (the audio is never stored).

• Technical usage and AI cost records, not linked to you: the user identifier is removed upon deletion.
• Anonymous aggregated knowledge in the global food database (for example, the average carbohydrates of a food), which exists only if you gave optional consent and holds no reference to you, your account or individual meals. It never includes blood glucose, insulin or other health data.
• Database backups, which are overwritten in the provider's normal retention cycle.
• Data we are legally required to keep, if any.
